Short answer: Pick a licensed casino, set a deposit limit, choose a slot, set a small stake, read the paytable, then spin. Stop at the budget or time you chose.
Step by step
- Join a UK-licensed casino and verify your identity.
- Set a deposit limit.
- Choose a slot; start with a low volatility one.
- Open the paytable: read the RTP, the symbols and the feature.
- Set your stake, from as little as 10p.
- Press spin. Each press is one bet.
- Stop when your budget or time is up.

Choosing a first slot
Starburst is the classic start: one feature and frequent small wins. Then try a simple feature slot such as Big Bass Bonanza. The slot finder suggests one from a single question.
Setting a stake
| Budget | At 10p | At 20p | At 50p |
|---|
| £10 | 100 | 50 | 20 |
|---|
| £20 | 200 | 100 | 40 |
|---|
| £50 | 500 | 250 | 100 |
|---|
On high volatility slots, aim for 200 spins or more.
